Dr. Dale Brill is Thinkspot’s Obsessive Thinker. He is a proven agent of change having injected innovation into firms from the earliest start-up phases to the introduction of e-commerce as General Motor’s Dean of e-Commerce and as its Global Business Leader for General Motors-Europe. Prior to launching Thinkspot, Dale served as president of the Florida Chamber Foundation, the public policy research and development division under the umbrella of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Dale’s experience includes public service as the Director of the Governor’s Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development (OTTED) in Florida. His marketing background includes tenure as Chief Marketing Officer for VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s official tourism marketing corporation.
Dale Brill has been recognized by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) as one of the Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds and selected among the inaugural class of Fast Company Magazine’s “Fast 50 Innovators.” He earned his doctorate from the University of Tennessee.
Kate Schuetz, Ph.D.
Dr. Kate Schuetz is Thinkspot’s Analytical Thinker based in our Chicago office. A cognitive/experimental psychologist by training, Kate’s passion is designing and implementing iterative, end-to-end research projects. Clients benefit from her extensive experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods and advanced data analysis. Kate transforms data overload into strategic insight. She demystifies performance measures to facilitate effective, data-driven decisions.
Before pursuing her graduate degree, Kate spent several years as a secondary school educator (foreign language). Her research interests include applying systematic analytics at the intersection of early childhood development and generational poverty. She received her doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Process Thinker + Complexity Reducer
Stephanie Brill serves as Thinkspot’s Process Thinker, overseeing the firm’s collaborative facilitation, analysis and client service operations. Stephanie previously served as Strategic Planner for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and pioneered the development of the department’s first comprehensive, five-year strategic plan. Clients benefit from Stephanie’s experience at the Florida Chamber Foundation, where she developed the Six Pillars Community program, handled the complex planning environments faced at the state, regional and county levels, and managed strategic operations. She also served in the Governor’s Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development (OTTED) as a project manager under the Crist administration.
Stephanie holds a bachelor’s of science degree and a master’s of science degree from Florida State University.
Betty serves as Thinkspot’s Grassroots Thinker. With a background in finance and accounting, she brings more than 30 years of experience in management services to the team. She has built and supervised local project deployments with a knack for casting the broad nets necessary to ensure community consensus. A veteran of the unique context found in Chamber of Commerce and local government dynamics, Betty is a catalyst for success within collaborative community visioning and planning initiatives.
Betty is past President of the Clermont Downtown Partnership, past VP of Lake Eustis Chamber of Commerce, and past President of Eustis Mainstreet.
